At Smarty, they like to keep things simple. It’s connectivity without the nonsense. So this campaign poked fun at the telco industry and highlighted Smarty as the no nonsense antidote. Working with award-winning animator, designer and illustrator, Pencil Bandit, to create the characters for the brand and the films.
The campaign received the highest customer uplift and website view throughs the brand has ever seen. Meaning that they upped their spend by almost £1 million to have the campaign run across VOD, TV, Social and Radio. They also produced the second iteration of the campaign including 4 more animated films 3 months after delivery of the first set.
